Thunder God — eyes glow, lightning strikes.
Thunder God fills a portrait with forked lightning and glowing eyes. The sample is a reel of three runs, each a close-up portrait with a bold look. It opens on a woman with a shaved head, red paint across her eyes and a black halter top, arms crossed in black gloves against a dark background.
The sample
What happens in the Thunder God sample.
In the first run, the woman's eyes turn bright white-blue and thin bolts of lightning branch out from around her head, reaching down past her shoulders. The second run shows two people with spiky red hair, posed close together, one in a red furry jacket and black choker, the other in a brown laced leather vest. Their eyes glow the same white-blue as bolts flicker behind them. The last run is a man with a swept-back brown quiff and an open red leather jacket. His eyes are glowing from the start, then lightning forks down around his head.
Faces, hair, makeup and clothes stay as they are in all three runs. Only the glow in the eyes and the lightning are added, and each backdrop keeps its own colour: black, pale and warm grey. The camera barely moves, and each run stays a tight head-and-shoulders shot. Every run starts on a close portrait with the face square to the camera, so a similar framing gives the eyes and the bolts room to show.

Your photo
Photos that suit it.
One-tap effects have one input. The photo you pick is your creative control.
Close portrait, face forward
All three runs start on a head-and-shoulders shot with the face toward the camera. A close portrait like those mirrors how each run begins.
Leave room around your head
The bolts spread out above and beside the head in each run, so some clear space around yours gives them room.
Two faces can share a shot
The second run shows two people in one frame, and both get the glowing eyes. A duo portrait follows what that run shows.

Thunder God, answered.
What does the Thunder God effect do?
A reel of three portraits in which eyes glow white-blue and lightning forks around the head: a shaved-head woman in black, two people with red hair, and a man in red leather.
Does Thunder God work on a photo with two people?
One run in the sample shows two people with spiky red hair side by side, and both of their eyes glow white-blue while lightning flickers behind them. The other two runs show one person each. Since the effect uses a single photo, both people would need to be in that one picture.
How much does Thunder God cost?

New verified accounts receive 3 welcome credits once. The welcome bonus covers one supported first run costing 2 credits.
