Effect · Superhero
From long coat to winged hero.
This effect swaps everyday clothes for a star-marked hero suit up in the clouds. Its sample opens on a man with short dark hair and a beard, standing with his hands in the pockets of a camel coat worn over a black roll-neck. Bright sky and heavy clouds fill the space around him.
The sample
What happens in the Captain America sample.
Early on, a streak of white light cuts across his chest while the coat is still in place. Next the coat fades, and a blue suit with a white star, red and white stripes and a round star shield shows through a glowing haze. Brown feathered wings then open from his back as the camera moves in, and he stands with his arms low and a serious face. In the last moment the light brightens, the suit turns a lighter blue, and the wings look blue with red edges.
His face, hair and beard stay the same through the change, and the cloudy sky stays behind him. Only the clothes are swapped, and the wings and shield are added. The camera pushes from a wider standing view to a closer chest-up shot, so his face gets bigger as the suit arrives. The sample starts on a standing, front-facing photo with the whole upper body in view, so a similar pose gives the suit room to appear.

Photos that suit it.
One-tap effects have one input. The photo you pick is your creative control.
Stand and face the lens
At first the man stands straight, looking at the camera with his hands in his pockets. A relaxed, front-on pose like his is an easy place to begin.
Show your upper body
The new suit covers the chest and arms, and the sample starts wide enough to show them. A photo from the thighs or waist up gives it space.
Leave room at the sides
Wide wings open out past the shoulders late in the sample, so clear space on both sides of you gives them somewhere to go.
