Soon after, wide black wings rise from her back, she lowers her arms, and then she rests her hands on her hips. The second run is a close portrait of a woman with long white hair, dark lipstick, a black wide-brimmed hat and a lace collar. Her wings curl forward around her body. In the last run a blonde woman in an olive slip dress leans toward the camera indoors, then stands straight as the wings open behind her.
Across all three runs the faces, hair, clothes and backgrounds look the same before and after the wings arrive. Only the wings are new, and they are the same glossy black feathers each time.
