What happens in the Eye Zoom Challenge sample.
The first run opens on a selfie of a woman with curly brown hair in a loose updo, red lipstick, gold hoop earrings and a white top. The view moves closer to her face, then to one eye with long lashes, and finally to a huge close-up of her brown iris and dark pupil. The second run starts on a young man with wavy orange hair, freckles and pale green eyes, holding a phone. It pushes in to his eye, then to the ring of blue, green and amber in his iris, and ends inside the black pupil.
Nothing about the face changes. The whole effect is camera movement, and the detail at the end comes from the eye itself: skin texture, lashes, iris colour and fibres. Each run keeps the person's own eye colour. Both start on a front-facing selfie with the eyes open and in sharp focus, so a similar photo with clear, well-lit eyes is the natural pick.
