What happens in the Clayshot sample.
For the first five frames the sample is a studio portrait. The dog sits upright, mouth open and tongue showing, while the camera drifts back a little. In the fifth frame a thumb appears at the lower left. By the sixth, a white border frames the dog and the image softens, the fur already looking smoother. From the seventh frame the dog is a rounded clay model with a pink tongue and dot eyes, standing on a sage green base inside a white instant print held between finger and thumb.
The dog's pose, colours and open-mouthed grin survive the change, but the body becomes short and chunky, with rosy cheeks and simpler paws. The grey backdrop turns warm beige with a green floor, and the camera pulls back from the portrait to show the print in a hand. A clean, front-facing shot of one animal on a plain background starts the sample, so a similarly simple photo follows its lead.
