What happens in the Yearbook sample.
A streaky blur comes first, then settles into a woman with long, fair hair, a grey t-shirt and an open denim shirt against a white wall. Then the picture changes. She now stands on a mottled blue backdrop in a sleeveless white top with a navy collar and buttons, plus a pleated white skirt. At first she lifts a tennis racket with one hand and waves with the other. The racket then drops to her side, and for the rest of the clip she smiles and waves at the camera.
Her face, hair and smile carry over from the opening photo. The clothes, the pose and the background all change: the denim and grey tee give way to tennis whites, and the plain wall becomes a painted-look blue backdrop. Once the portrait appears the camera holds still, framing her from head to knee. As the sample starts from a front-facing shot with the face in soft, even light, a similar photo is the obvious starting point.
