Instant Film starts like a video on a phone camera and ends as a small instant print with cartoon figures moving inside it. The sample opens on a bride in a white gown and veil and a groom in a black tuxedo, running hand in hand across a green field, with camera buttons laid over the picture.
The sample
What happens in the Instant Film sample.
The first two frames look like a phone screen in video mode, with a zoom dial and a red record button over the running couple. The zoom dial turns and the view tightens. In the third frame the screen flashes white, and the groom is suddenly a cartoon figure. From the fourth frame a hand holds a white instant print against the same field. Inside it the cartoon couple run, with his head and her veil spilling past the border, then dance and end in a hug, face to face.
The couple keep their outfits: her white gown and veil, his black tuxedo and bow tie. Their faces become round and cartoonish with large eyes, while the field and sky behind the print stay real. The camera moves from the phone view to a close shot of the print. Since the sample starts from a full-length shot of two people moving through an open space, a similar outdoor photo is a good starting point.
